FORM + FUNCTION

FORM + FUNCTION is a small studio for product design located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. FORM + FUNCTION was founded in 2008 by Eindhoven University of Technology Industrial Design alumni Patrick Schuur. Together with its clients FORM + FUNCTION creates products that take its client’s business to the next level, always keeping in mind the client’s capabilities. Main interest and focus is on products and technologies that are new and innovative.

How we work

Before plunging into the design phase of a project time is spent on immersing, observing and researching the subject at hand. Based on insights from research, ideas & concepts are generated. Through modern software tools, programmable electronics and fast turnaround prototyping methods, working prototypes are built and if required the translation to manufacturing is made. Besides the design and engineering of the physical design FORM + FUNCTION is capable of doing UI design & prototyping. Read more about our process: here.

Like the working area of product design, our interest covers a broad spectrum. We follow many art- design- technology- business- advertising- related blogs and magazines. We share many of the things we come across and post them to our Facebook page and/or Twitter.
